Race Day: Saturday, June 14, 2008 Dockside Waterfront Park
7:00AM
Participants using privately owned Kayaks:
Drop off your kayak at Dockside Waterfront Park then park your vehicle in th Metro North Parking lot at Lunn Terrace and Market Street.
Participants renting Kayaks from Hudson Valley outfitters:
Park in the Metro North Parking lot at Lunn Terrace and Market Street. then walk to Dockside Waterfront Park for Check-in. After check-in you will be directed to your boat.
7:00AM - 8:45 AM Check-In at Dockside Waterfront Park
All individual participants and each team member must check-in at this time.
Numbers and race packet will be issued after the safety waiver is read and signed by each racer
Race day registration will be accepted. Please arrive early so this process can be completed within this time frame. Individuals -$50.00 Teams - $60.00
Kayak Rental is a transaction solely between the registrant and Hudson Valley outfitters. Event organizers are not party to this transaction and this transaction must be completed at check-in.
Personal kayaks and equipment must be dropped off at the transition area at Dockside prior to check-in.
8:45 Mandatory Orientation & Safety Session
Attendance is required for all participants
9:00 AM Start (Rain or Shine)
Post race party with music food and beverages will follow the completion of the race in Waterfront Park.
